Leverage is the name of the game: The Fulcrum Effect

Leverage is the name of the game: The Fulcrum Effect

“Absence of Leverage” in your life typically  manifests itself as a “lack of time” problem.

Since everybody has the same amount of time and some people get a lot more out of that same time, those people should be doing something different or should have something different in them. And, I think “one” of that something is “leverage.”

Some people get that from their past accomplishments, some people get that from their network, some more get from where they were born, raised, studied and worked. It may be a combination of many things.

If we look at ourselves (honestly) each one of us can make an assessment about how much leverage we have in our life. If you are like most people, the answer is “Not Enough.”

So, where do we start?

My friends at Kreative Vistas are putting together my program on leverage called “The Fulcrum Effect” into a DVD offering.

This has been in the works for the last few weeks and hopefully we should have it ready for shipping in the next few weeks.

I will keep you posted and THANK YOU all for your support.

This is excellent!

“Since everybody has the same amount of time and some people get a lot more out of that same time, those people should be doing something different or should have something different in them.”

Loved this thought!

Thank you Tanmay.

The concept of leverage has fascinated me for years and interestingly there is no course offered on how someone can increase leverage in his or her life. “The Fulcrum Effect” is a serious attempt in that direction.

Thanks for your support.

best,

Raj

You’re welcome Rajesh. It has always been a pleasure reading your blog/think tweets.

I have heard earlier about leveraging oppportunities, leveraging contacts, leveraging influence etc. but never about increasing self-leverage of our actions/ideas/time and all that is available to us.

Will this DVD set be available in India? If not, how soon would it be?

you look handsome on DVD cover! good shot!

Where can I buy this?

Rajesh,

I look forward to your program. When I think about what you’ve said, the concept of leverage reveals itself to become more and more important.

If you’re in a business where you trade your time for money (consulting, computer repair, a job), once you’re selling every hour you have, then you’ve got to charge more money. At a certain point, you reach a limit in what you can make. Therefore, leverage is the only way you’re going to earn more, right?

Isn’t this what the most successful MLM/Direct Selling business people do? Otherwise, no one would make the top dollars.

And, a smart Chamber of Commerce uses leverage, too! They ask their loyal members to refer more people. Many Chambers formalize this and have Ambassador Committees. In my Chamber, the Ambassadors’ main purpose is to help recruit new members.

Jim Ware, the CEO who hired me six years ago, emphasized that I would not be able to bring in enough members on my own. That I would HAVE to leverage my resources to be successful.

Thanks for the reminder!

Beth

P.S. It *is* a very good picture on the cover.

Really looking forward to it! Will you post to your Announcements section when it is published?

Tanmay, Thank you. Will check with Kreative Vistas about availability in India. Get back to you soon.

Suresh, thanks always. Will call you later tonight or tomorrow.

Beth, you are right, we have limited time but with leverage (used right) “limited time” won’t be an issue.

Chris, will announce this on my blog of course. You can also sign up for the newsletter (typically once a week) where I provide more frequent updates:

Have a great week ahead all of you.
