My first reaction was similar to one mentioned before, reminded me of “Jadu ki Jhappi” (magical hug) from Hindi movie “Munnabhai MBBS”

This video, and the Australian band who made the clip and provided the soundtrack, were featured on the Australian version of 60 Minutes last weekend. It’s a great story of bootstrap marketing. The Aussie band made the clip and put one of their tracks onto it. And now it’s been seen (and heard) by millions of people.

This made me cry; I was so amazed that somone thought to spend their day that way. It’s really a shame they had to jump through the hoops to sign a petition for giving out hugs to willing recipients. I’d love to do something like this… but I’m afriad I’d just get all weepy and freak people out. Thanks for posting the video.
